You are looking really good to be 246 years old! Although some say age has taken its toll and you have some scars, I say you are still looking great! Some say you have weakened and no longer of the people and for the people, but I say you are still strong and able to stand in the face of any adversary foreign or domestic.

This one nation under God has been blessed. Your beautiful mountains and glorious landscapes have not been scared by ravages of war. Your great cities have not been reduced to rubble by invasion of foreign enemies. Great fields of corn and oceans of wheat still grow tall in your heartland. Production that continues to feed the world. Such blessings many nations cannot claim.

Often your freedom has been abused and marred by twisted ideals to justify unspeakable actions. But still, your freedom stands to provide for those who seek protection beneath your eagle’s wings. Despite those who would take it away, your people still enjoy freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom from want, freedom from fear, and the right to bear arms.

Be proud and continue to soar high. Rise above all that seek to bring you down. Your strength is in your beginning when you were established one nation under God. Remember who you are. Take pride in your principles, your people, and your posterity.

You can continue to exist and thrive as long as we the people are reminded who you are. Looking past the political propaganda that portrays you as flawed and past saving, we still see the real, true, great America, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men were created equal.

Yes, you have endowed us all with equality. This equality is not a respecter of color or creed. Equality of privilege and opportunity is promised to all. However, we each have equal obligation and responsibility as well. As Americans We all are equally responsible to work. to share, to treat with respect our fellow citizens.

On this 4th of July 2022, I praise God for you, our nation. I praise him for your continued financial and economic health and your great military strength. I thank Him for blessing you to still be alive and well! I pray you continue to be our one nation under God, because “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!”
