I\u2019m sure we\u2019ve not been introduced<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tho she seems somewhat familiar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know her, to tell the truth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has to be someone\u2019s grandmother<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With graying hair and sagging skin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bristly eyebrows meet each other<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crow\u2019s-feet, wrinkles, and double chin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No surprise she doesn\u2019t linger<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the mirror in the hall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s no longer a dead ringer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of her photograph on the wall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would never be judgmental<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For I\u2019m sure I\u2019d do the same<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should time be to me so cruel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That like her image I became<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All at once I\u2019m disconcerted <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the strange person that I see<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quickly turning, eyes averted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I realize that person\u2019s me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
